Randa Mustafa visits the Productive farms in Moshtohor

During her visit to a number of productive farms at the Faculty of Agriculture in Moshtohor; Prof. Dr. Randa Mustafa, Benha University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs confirmed the necessity of working to develop the performance of productive centers and units with a special nature at the level of university faculties It is worth mentioning that the tour included inspection for the greenhouses, vegetables, ornamental, and the farms of fish, animal production, rabbit, and poultry farm in the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Iraqi, the Faculty Dean, Faculty Vice-deans, and a number of faculty members.

BU launches the Activities of Online Workshop on NBSLE

With cooperation of the National Bank for Scientific Laboratories and Equipment "NBSLE", Supreme Council of Universities; the Scientific Laboratories and Equipment Unit, Benha University has organized the online workshop about the services provided by NBSLE for young researchers in Benha University on through ZOOM application in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Moawad, the Director of the Electronic and Cognitive Services Center; Prof. Dr. Rasha badry, the Director of NBSLE; Dr. Mohamed Basyouni, the CEO of the University Scientific Laboratories and Equipment Unit. It is worth mentioning that workshop has been organized under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Gamal El Saeed, the University President and Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs.

New Research at BU on "Tannins Effect on Inhibiting COVID‐19"

Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches' Affairs said that a research team from Benha University "BU" and other researchers from China, India, and Sudan published in the Journal of Food Biochemistry a study about Tannins inhibit SARS‐CoV‐2 through binding with catalytic dyad residues of 3CLpro: An in silico approach with 19 structural different hydrolysable tannins.
Dr. Ibrahim Khalifa, the lecturer at the food industry department, faculty of agriculture and the head of BU research team said that the corona epidemic resulting from infection with novel coronavirus "covid19", has raised the concerns of the World Health Organization as well as all over the world.
