Benha University participates in the first forum of the Universities Youth Parliament

Benha University participated in the activities of the first forum for officials of the Universities Youth Parliament, which was held under auspices of Dr. Khalid Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Gamal Sosa, President of Benha University, and Dr. Tamer Samir, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs. The meeting was held in the presence of Dr. Khaled Essawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities, Tariq Harbi, Director of Families and Initiatives Department, Mustafa Hani Sanad, Youth Parliament Official, and Abdullah Al-Batta, President of the University Students Union. For his part, Prof. Gamal Sosa, President of Benha University, said that the University was keen to participate in the first forum of University youth parliament officials at the level of Egyptian universities, in line with the interests of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic to Prepare young cadres capable of assuming leadership and executive positions, and having a vital role in participating in many major events and occasions and to be the people's representatives in the future by refining their skills and training them to practice political life.

He also thanked the project's consultants and engineers for quality, commitment to the schedule and confirmed on quality of implementation and the necessary equipment according to the approved specifications. The tour came in the presence of Dr. Tamer Samir, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Saeed, the University's Engineering Adviser, Dr. Hazem Eliwa, Acting Academic Director of El-Obour Campus, Ms. Sherine Shawky, Secretary General of the University, Professor Refaat Nan, Assistant Secretary of the University for Administrative Affairs, and Professor Ayman Bayoumy Amin, The University's Assistant for Financial Affairs, and Ms. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and a group of consultants and construction and project 's engineers.

El Qalyubia Governor and BU President inaugurate the Sustainable Development and Climate Change Unit in Moshtohor Agriculture

Major Genera l Abdel Hamid El-Hagan, Governor of Qalyubia, and Dr. Gamal Sosa, President of Benha University inaugurated the Sustainable Development and Climate Change Unit at the headquarters of Agriculture Faculty in Moshtohor, in the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Maghraby Iraqi, the Supervisor of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Zabalawy, Acting Dean of the Faculty, Mrs. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and the Faculty of agriculture deputies . The governor of Qalyubia and the University president listened to a detailed explanation from the supervisor of the community service and environmental development sector and the Faculty dean about the services provided by the sustainable development unit in the Faculty and its most important capabilities. Benha University President said that an academic working group has been formed to implement the University's goals, to organize awareness campaigns on the issue of climate change and its effects, and how to deal with these effects at the individual and societal level, through public lectures.
