Benha University Biotechnology Incubator Launches a Program to Incubate Promising Transferable Ideas for Startups

Benha University Biotechnology Incubator announces about launches its first incubation cycle in cooperation with the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) through a program called INTILLAQ to support promising ideas that can be transferred to startups companies in the fields of biotechnology. The Camp is a step to create a supportive climate for innovators and creators of young researchers.
It is worth mentioning that the Camp will be held under auspices of Prof.Dr.Gamal Sosa, Benha University President, Dr. Mahmoud Saqr, President of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) and Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice President for Post graduate Studies and Scientific Research. For his part, Dr.Amr El Awamry, the executive manager of the Incubator mentioned that the incubation program consists of several stages as following; The First Stage: creative camp
At this stage, applicants are trained on the basic principles of entrepreneurship and the importance of creating ideas in a creative way that fits the needs of the market
The second stage: Before Incubation
Startups join this stage and work on the commercial model and the prototype, while providing technical and financial support in total amounting to 20 thousand Egyptian pounds.
The third stage: Incubation
Startups in the prototype transform the model into a commercial application ready to be put on the market, technical and financial support will be provided in total amounting to 200,000 Egyptian pounds.

Minister of Higher Education chairs the meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities at the Benha University Headquarters in Obour

The Supreme Council of Universities held its regular meeting at the headquarters of Benha University in El-Obour, the meeting was headed by Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific and in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Latif, Secretary of the Council and members of the Council. The council thanked Benha University staff that headed by Dr. Gamal Sosa, Benha University President to host the meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities. The Minister of Higher Education confirmed on the readiness of all universities and institutes for the second semester exams for the academic year 2021/2022 .He also stressed the necessity of the commitment of faculty members and their assistants to attend exams to ensure discipline and the successful conduct of exams process. The Minister also stressed that all students must adhere to precautionary and preventive measures throughout their stay on the campus, noting the need to wear a medical mask "the mask", adhere to social distancing and bring all personal and written tools, as well as not Being inside the university campus after completing exams, in order to preserve the safety of students and all other members. The Minister also directed to raise the state of readiness of university hospitals during the exams period at the end of the current academic year. The Minister directed that all faculties should quickly finish announcing the results of the exams at the end of the second semester of the 2021-2022.
