Eng. Mohamed Abdel Zaher, the Governor of Qalyoubia has assigned Prof. Dr. Yasser Sohail, the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts, Benha University to design the new memorial which will be built in front of Benha Sports Club instead of the old memorial which will be demolished in the frame of developing the Capital of the Governorate. 

In cooperation with Zayed Charity Institution, UAE; the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Egypt organizes the 2nd edition of Zayed Charity Marathon for Hepatitis Diseases Patients coinciding with the celebrations of the UAE 's 44th National Day. Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University has received Prof. Dr. Hussein Eissa, the President of Ain Shams University to discuss the ways of cooperation between the two Universities in the various fields in the presence of Prof. Dr. Adel El Adawy, the Professor at the Faculty of Medicine and the Previous Minister of Health and Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students’ Affairs.
