Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the university president and the secretary-general of the supreme council of the Universities initiates the proceedings of the supreme committee of trainers’ accreditation and licenses extraction for the training centers in the presence of prof.Dr. Ashour Ahmed Amry, the head of the national training center so as to discuss some related topics with regard to setting the criteria of trainers’ accreditation. EL-Gizaway asserts that this committee aims to select distinguished faculties’ members to run the training process effectively and achieve the national strategy of the ministry of higher education. It’s noteworthy that this committee includes a number of Egyptian Universities’ vice presidents and the experts in this field. 

Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the university president attends the students’ ceremony of the 1st German language in the faculty of education in the presence of prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, the vice president of educational and students affairs, prof.Dr. Magdy EL-Shahat, the dean of the faculty of education, the faculty’s vice deans, several faculty members and the students of German language department. EL-Gizaway asserts that the department seeks to prepare a sufficient and capable teacher of German language who can meet the demands of the marketplace, contribute to the community progress and get in touch with the other cultures. During the ceremony, the students sing songs, recite poetry, and act shots of both the Egyptian and the German cultures.

Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the University professor issues a number of decrees to appoint new departments’ heads and vice deans in the university’s faculties. These decrees include the renewal of the appointment of prof.Dr. Gamal El-Sayed Abdel EL-Aziz as a vice dean of educational and students affairs in the faculty of engineering/ Shubra, prof.Dr. Mohamed Abd EL-Karim Nabhan as a vice dean of educational and students affairs in the faculty of physical education, prof.Dr. Mohamed Abdo Mohamed as the head of cardiology department in the faculty of medicine, prof.Dr. Mohamed Ali Ahmed as the head of lands and water department, prof.Dr. Faten Mahmoud Abdel EL-Latif as the head of botany department in the faculty of agriculture, and prof.Dr. Mohamed Hussein Kamel as the head of chest diseases in the faculty of medicine. 

Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the University president announces that information technology institute of the ministry of communication and information technology will participate to organize the proceedings of the “evolving technologies Hackathon”. This event is conducted to enable the disabled ones and it will be held in February 2024. This event comes in accordance with the deep faith of the ministry of higher education role to support the digital transformation, achieve Egypt’s vision 2030 to get turned into a knowledge-based digital economy and encourage the innovation, research and progress. This is done by helping the youth to put their smart ideas and programming projects into action. Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the university president announces that Benha University is one of the best ten Universities in Egypt as per the ARU Ranking. This is the result of the uniting efforts of the Arab universities union, the Arab league, the Alecso and the scientific research councils union. It’s noteworthy that Benha University is in ninth place among 28 Egyptian Universities and it is in 20th place among 115 Arab Universities. EL-Gizaway asserts that this ranking depends on four pillars as follows: the indicator of education and learning, the indicator of innovation, entrepreneurship and development, the indicator of scientific research and the indicator of local and international cooperation. Prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, the vice president of educational and students affairs inspects the faculty of physical education to make sure that everything is up and running for the beginning of the first semester exams. He conducts the tour with prof.Dr. Osama Salah, the faculty dean and the vice deans. During the tour, he pays a visit to the departments of students’ affairs, youth care, and medical administration to make sure that everything is up and running for the beginning of the first semester exams. 

Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the university president inaugurates a TOT course to hone the faculties’ members’ potentials. It’s noteworthy that this course is organized by faculties’ members’ leadership development center. EL-Gizaway stresses that this course aims to prepare the participants to teach excellent and up to-date programs. He also contends that the center seeks to develop the academic and administrative potentials of the faculties’ members so as to achieve the University’s development strategy.

Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the university president stresses that the university is keen to help the researchers and the teaching staff reach their full potentials so as to positively affect the university reputation. EL-Gizaway says: “the university pays a great attention to help the teaching staff maximize their research capabilities in response to the modern challenges and the advanced technologies contending that effectiveness is the key standard to fill the leading vacancies”. This statement comes in accordance with the meeting in which the University president has with the teaching staff to discuss scientific research-related issues in “Tahia Misr” hall.

Under the auspices of prof.Dr.Nasser EL-Gizaway, the university president, the international relations office and DAAD hold a workshop about teaching staff strategic leadership. It’s noteworthy that Ms. Heba Selim delivered the lecture. The University president stresses that the university pays a due attention to scientific research in cooperation with the diverse institutions and educational entities in Egypt so as to get benefited from them in training the young researchers and the teaching staff. These workshops aim to strengthen the ties that will hone the potentials of researchers, teaching staff and employees.

Prof.Dr.Nasser EL-Gizaway, the university president announces that there are new ministerial decrees to renew the appointment of general managers in Benha University. These decrees include the renewal of the appointment of Mr. Wael Fouad as the head of the university secretariat, Mr. Sherriff Abd Allah as the head of medical affair in the university, Mr. Mohamed Mustafa Abd EL-Aziz as the head of post-graduate studies and scientific research in the university, Mr. Khalid Mustafa Ahmed as the general manager of the faculty of engineering/ Shubra, Mr. Mohamed Ibrahim EL-Sayed as the general manager of the faculty of agriculture, Mr. EL-Sayed Magawory Mohamed as the general manager of the faculty of education and Ms. Howiyda Fawzy Ahmed as the general manager of the faculty of arts.
